You only need to connect one AI provider, although you may connect several and switch between them.
ChatGPT / Codex
Select Sign in with ChatGPT and follow the one-time authorization instructions. No API key is required. A free ChatGPT account may be used when OpenAI makes Codex available to that account, subject to OpenAI’s current plan eligibility and usage limits. See OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Codex sign-in help.
OpenAI API
Create an OpenAI Platform API key and enter it in the protected OpenAI connection form. OpenAI API usage is billed separately from a ChatGPT subscription.
Anthropic Claude
A funded Anthropic API account is recommended. Anthropic OAuth authenticates an account but does not provide free usage, and a Claude Free account does not include usage for this interface. You can create a key in the Anthropic Console.
Google Gemini
Connect a Gemini API key or a customer-owned Google Cloud project with an OAuth client. Google controls applicable free quotas, account requirements, and billing.
Credentials and billing
Provider credentials are encrypted and isolated to your DirectAdmin account. Never paste an API key, password, recovery code, or other secret into Chat. Use only the protected connection and confirmation forms.
