Follow these steps to add a Lizard Hill mailbox to Mozilla Thunderbird.
Before you begin
Have your full email address, mailbox password, and assigned Lizard Hill server name ready. Your welcome message identifies the server.
Add the account
- Open Thunderbird’s account settings and choose to add an existing email account.
- Enter your name, full email address, and mailbox password.
- If automatic discovery does not return the correct values, choose Manual Configuration.
- Set the incoming protocol to IMAP, enter your assigned server, use port 993, and choose SSL/TLS.
- For the outgoing server, enter your assigned server, use port 587, and choose STARTTLS.
- Use normal-password authentication and your full email address as the username.
- Select Re-test, then finish adding the account.
