New feature

Lizard Hill customers can now create and update website content and manage common hosting tasks by describing what they want in plain language. The AI Natural Language Interface works inside DirectAdmin and is included with every hosting account at no additional charge from Lizard Hill.

You stay in control. The interface can inspect your account and prepare work, but changes that affect your hosting account are presented for review and confirmation before they are applied.

What can it help you do?

Create and maintain websites

Build pages, update text and styling, organize site files, use uploaded images or documents as reference material, and troubleshoot common website problems.

Manage everyday hosting tasks

Work with email accounts, DNS records, databases, backups, and applications installed through Installatron, including WordPress.

Review changes before they happen

See a human-readable explanation of proposed actions, confirm them individually, or apply a related group of changes in order.

Keep work within your account

The interface operates within your DirectAdmin permissions and hosting-package limits. Your conversations and Activity page are private to your account.

What you need

Before using the feature, you must enable Two-Step Authentication for your DirectAdmin account. This extra protection is required because the interface can prepare meaningful account changes. After enabling it, sign out of DirectAdmin and sign in again.

You must also connect your own supported AI provider account. Current connection choices include ChatGPT/Codex, the OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini. You can select a connection and change providers between requests.

How to get started

  1. Sign in to your DirectAdmin control panel.
  2. Open your profile, choose Two-Step Authentication, and complete the setup if it is not already enabled.
  3. Sign out, sign back in, and open AI Natural Language Interface.
  4. Choose AI Connections and connect one of the supported providers using your own account or API key.
  5. Select New Chat, describe what you want to accomplish, and review any proposed changes before confirming them.

About AI accounts, free access, and billing

Lizard Hill provides the hosting interface, not the underlying AI service. A free ChatGPT account may be used through the ChatGPT/Codex connection when OpenAI makes that access available. OpenAI controls eligibility, model availability, usage limits, and whether free access continues.

If you do not already have an AI account, you can visit chatgpt.com to create a free ChatGPT account. Then return to AI Connections in DirectAdmin and choose Sign in with ChatGPT. This is the simplest way to try the feature without setting up API billing, subject to OpenAI's free-account limits.

Other connections may require API billing, credits, or a paid plan. Any AI-provider charges are billed directly by that provider, not by Lizard Hill. You are responsible for understanding the provider's terms, limits, and billing before connecting an account.
